Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. Who we are
This policy explains how Ascendise ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information when you visit ascendise.com, book a call with us or contact us. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and, where they apply to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What we collect
- When you browse the website: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or third party analytics on this website. Fonts are hosted on our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google when loading them.
- When you book a call: booking is handled by Cal.com. You give them the details in the booking form, such as your name, email address and anything you choose to tell us, and they share those details with us.
- When you email us or talk to us: your name, email address, the content of your messages, and information about your channel, audience and business that you choose to share.
3. Why we use it
- To deliver, secure and fix problems with the website (our legitimate interest in running a safe website).
- To arrange and hold calls, reply to you and assess whether a partnership is a good fit (steps you asked us to take before a possible contract).
- To provide services under a partnership agreement (performance of a contract).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Who we share it with
We only share personal information with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed:
- Cloudflare (website hosting, security and DNS)
- Cal.com (call booking and scheduling)
- Google Workspace (email)
- Video call, document and payment providers we use to deliver our services, where relevant
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We choose reputable providers that apply recognised safeguards to personal information. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and call information for as long as we need it to talk with you about a possible partnership, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact unless we are working together. Information about active partnerships is kept for the life of the partnership and as long afterwards as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
6. Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Where GDPR applies, you can also object to or restrict our processing, ask for a copy of your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email armaan@ascendise.com and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or, if you are in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
Our services are for adults running a business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version on this page with a new date.
